Here the path branches off to the left towards Undri Eischollalp. There\u2019s a fantastic view from the Alpine pasture, 1,868 metres above sea level. Leaving the traditional Alpine huts behind, you follow the wide path further on to the Alp Tschorr. Here, you\u2019ll find a popular barbecue area on the shore of a small pond. Every year at the end of June, the Tschorrf\u00e4scht festival, with the traditional Eringer cow fighting, takes place in Tschorr. The hike continues through the F\u00e4richwald forest to Obermatten (1,550 m above sea level), a wide, lush alpine meadow with scattered settlements and a unique view of the central Valais. From here it is only about an hour\u2019s walk to the picturesque village of Ergisch. On Wednesdays, you can take the hiking bus back to Unterb\u00e4ch.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\"
