Once you\u2019ve left the timberline behind, you climb the eastern slopes of the \u2018Erez\u2019 to reach the wide north-eastern ridge of the Ergischalphorn. Following this ridge, you finally reach the Ergischalphorn (2,849 m above sea level). Before starting the descent, it is worth stopping to enjoy the fantastic panoramic view.<\/p>\n<p>From the summit, there\u2019s a short descent south-east to reach the beautiful north-eastern slopes. In this excellent freeride terrain, \u2019you might make out the tracks of a lone skier at most. Knowledge of avalanche conditions and an appropriate choice of route are essential. Like on route 183, you keep left at the timberline to reach \u2018Obru Eischollalp\u2019. Here you reach the prepared slopes again.
