Group lessons are only offered on weekdays from Mon\u2013Fri. On weekends, only private lessons are available.<\/p>\n<p>Due to low demand, only private lessons are available for snowboarders. Private lessons can be booked seven days a week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the difference between private lessons and group lessons?<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In private lessons, the ski instructor concentrates on one child only. The private course is completely tailored to individual skills and needs.<br \/>In group lessons, the instructor attention is focused on the whole class. Participants benefit from the group spirit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How big does a group have to be?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>A group is formed when at least four people (at the same Swiss Snow League level) take part. Only private lessons are available for less than four people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can you get money back if the child doesn&#8217;\u2019t like it?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>A refund of the tuition ticket will only be made on presentation of a medical certificate. Guests can buy one single day for their child first. If the child enjoys the lessons, the course can be extended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When will refunds apply?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The Unterb\u00e4ch Ski School accepts no liability for accidents that occur before, during or after the ski course. Redeemed ski course tickets will only be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate. No refunds will be given if the SBU lifts are out of service for any reason.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How are the groups divided?<\/strong><br \/>Groups are divided based on Swiss Snow League guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Snowgarden: Beginners<\/li>\n<li>Blue League: Novices<\/li>\n<li>Red League: Advanced<\/li>\n<li>Black League: Experts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Swiss Snow League videos (&gt; Link) can help assess the level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can our children be in a group together?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The groups are divided primarily according to skiing ability (Swiss Snow League). If your own children or their friends ski equally well, they can be in the same group. If the children do not ski equally well, the child who skis better would have to be considerate of the child who is less experienced and go into a lower group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I join a group course during the week, too?<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>In principle, our group courses always start on Mondays and end on Fridays. If a child joins the course later, the level of the group may already be too advanced. For novices and advanced skiers (Blue, Red &amp; Black League), it is possible to join an existing group during the week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At what age can children join the ski course?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>We recommend age three-and-a-half and over. With younger children, we do a &#8216;\u2018trial day&#8217;\u2019 first.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What equipment is required?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The basic equipment required includes ski boots, skis and ski poles (except Snowgarden). A helmet and suitable protective goggles are strongly recommended. Dress your children according to the weather conditions. Don&#8217;t forget sunscreen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is the ski pass included in the ski course?<\/strong><br \/>For all ski courses, ski passes must be purchased separately from the mountain transport ticket office. Children who only use the magic carpet also require a ski pass. Children under 9 (based on birthday) pay CHF 5 per day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can I book a ski course?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The easiest way is to book online. Of course, you can also contact us by phone or email to make a booking (see contact details). If you are at the resort, our office will be happy to advise. Please note our office opening times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which payment methods are accepted?<br \/><\/strong><br \/>In our office, you can pay with all major cards (Maestro\/Mastercard\/Visa).
