NORDIC SKIING WITH OUR NEIGHBOURS

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING IN BÜRCHEN

In the neighbouring village of Bürchen you can glide along 12 km of prepared cross-country ski trails and enjoy the snow and the views the Nordic way.

The cross-country skiing trails in Bürchen are 10 minutes’ drive away. If you don’t have a car, you can book the ski bus every Wednesday (and every Thursday in February). This is free for all guests with an ‘Upper Valais region’ guest card or a valid ski pass.

MOOSALP CROSS-COUNTY TRAIL

The circular Moosalp cross-country trail can be found around 2,000 metres above sea level. At this altitude, snow is guaranteed. The ‘Alpuschnaager’, a snowcat with a passenger cabin, brings cross-country skiers from Bürchen straight to the trail and back again. The trail is suitable for both the classic and skating technique.
