RECREATION AREA WITH PANORAMA GUARANTEE
SEEPARK AUGSTBORD
Situated on the northern edge of the village of Unterbäch is a beautiful local recreation area with a 1,000m2 lake. The Augstbord lake park, which is fed by the Suon “Unterbächneri”, is 1.5 metres deep and invites you to swim. A circular path suitable for prams and wheelchairs leads around the lake. A water and adventure playground invites you to play and splash around. There is also a small “camping site” close to the shore with space for five mobile homes and six cars, as well as toilet and shower facilities.
The lake with playground as well as the pitches was opened at the beginning of August 2021. Information as well as the availability of the pitches can be found at www.parknsleep.app. Payment is made on site and online via the aforementioned website.

DIRECTIONS WITH CAR
The five pitches are located directly above the Augstbord lake park.
You can reach Unterbäch via the Visp-Bürchen-Unterbäch route or via Turtmann-Eischoll-Unterbäch. Once you have arrived at the village entrance in Unterbäch, follow the course of the cantonal road to the Sporthotel Walliserhof. Now turn east of the hotel. After 100 metres you have reached the parking spaces.

DIRECTIONS BY FOOT
The Augstbord lake park with its pitches is located below the Sporthotel Walliserhof. From the mountain station of the Raron-Unterbäch cable car, the lake is a 5-minute walk away. Walk along the Dorfstrasse in the direction of Eischoll and turn right after the gymnasium. Follow the road to the main road below the village. There you cross the cantonal road, continue east of the Sporthotel Walliserhof and you have already reached your destination.

Summersounds at the Lakepark
The Summersounds at the Lakepark will also take place next summer 2024. A cosy atmosphere, music, barbecues and raclette create a wonderful transition into the weekend.
