BIKETOUR
LUNGGI TRAIL
An enduro highlight over 1,200 metres in altitude from Eischoll to Gampel-Steg with a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountains. After the short ride from Unterbäch Eischoll, the Lunggi trail begins with a tough ascent to the mountain station Striigge. From there, the route continues over the high plateau with a magnificent panoramic view towards Senggalp. At the hamlet of Meigge, a short but steep ascent leads up to Alp Tschorr, accompanied by views of the majestic Bietschhorn and the surrounding peaks of the Bernese Alps. From Tschorr, an outstanding enduro downhill run awaits. The fantastic single trail leads past the Färichwald forest down to Habere and crosses the mountain road twice. Flowing, yet challenging, the valley descent winds through the forest down to the hamlet of Lunggi. Two or three narrow hairpin bends round off this enduro highlight before it ends at Gampel-Steg station. From there, the trail follows the gravel path along the Rhone and past the idyllic lake Baggilla back to Raron, where the cable car will whisk you back to Unterbäch.
