In Unterbäch, two electric vehicles from Sponti-Car are available to guests and locals at the Unterbäch multi-storey car park. The service offers simple and flexible use at a clear hourly rate.
Travelling to Unterbäch is also convenient and sustainable. Thanks to good links to public transport and the Raron–Unterbäch cable car, visitors and locals can easily reach the village without needing their own car. Once in Unterbäch, Sponti-Car’s electric vehicles provide the necessary local transport – for example, for shopping, a day out or a visit to one of the surrounding villages.
The electric vehicles are charged using 100 per cent renewable electricity from regional hydroelectric power and solar energy. In this way, Sponti-Car combines ease of use with sustainable and personalised mobility.
This allows visitors to explore the region flexibly, comfortably and in an environmentally conscious way – from travelling there by public transport to continuing their journey individually by electric car.

HOW IT WORKS
Here’s how Sponti-Car works: Register online once and upload your driving licence. Once your application has been approved, users will receive instructions on how to use the service and can choose between the Sponti-Car app or a personal access card. You can then book available vehicles online for periods ranging from one hour up to several days. After the journey, the vehicle is parked in the reserved parking space and reconnected to the charging station. Billing takes place monthly via invoice.
