From Brandalp, after a short but sweet chairlift ride, follow the road towards Breite Stäg with its Milibach stream. The source of this stream is in the Unners Sänntum (Ginals) and supplies hydroelectric power for the Unterbäch municipality power station. Continue along the forest road and cross the Gorpatbach stream. Here the path branches off to the left towards Undri Eischollalp. When you get there, we recommend taking a short break. In the midst of the traditional Alpine huts, a wonderful panoramic view opens up from this little Alp. The ascent continues to Obri Eischollalp, where the trail then continues uphill past the ‘Erez’ cross to the 2,526-metre-high Ergischhorn. On the Ergischhorn you are rewarded with a magnificent view of endless peaks. A summit book is chained to the foot of the summit cross. The strenuous descent of more than 1,300 metres in altitude takes you via Tschonghubel (lookout point) and Alp Tschorr to Eischoll. From there, it’s another 30 minutes’ walk towards Unterbäch. On Wednesdays, you can take the hiking bus back to Unterbäch.
