For safety reasons, various hiking trails will be closed on 5 and 6 September 2023 due to work carried out by the Visp Forestry Department (including timber transport by helicopter) in the Bawald area between Brandalp and Gibidum.

We ask hikers to avoid the closed paths as much as possible. The forest road Bürchen – Wiss Alpji – Brandalp will remain open for pedestrians.
