BIRCH TREE NATURE TRAIL
The Birch Tree Nature Trail leads through the various hamlets of our neighbouring village Bürchen. On 10 panels, you will find interesting facts about the birch tree, which gave the village Bürchen its name. The locations of the panels were chosen so that the written text can be viewed directly on the tree or on the birch tree group, depending on the theme and season. The nature trail is laid out in such a way that you can start the circular hike at any of the 10 panels. The path leads past romantic chapels, typical Valais barns and old houses, remains of wooden gutters once used to irrigate the meadows, deciduous forests and natural, lush meadows.
